Scott M. Sutton

Mr. Sutton is President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company, a position he has held since January 5, 2026. He also serves as a Board Member and Chairman of the Finance and Business Review Committee of Celanese Corporation, a role he assumed in March 2025.

Prior to joining Celanese, Mr. Sutton served as Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Olin Corporation from August 2020 to March 2024. During his tenure, he led a significant transformation of the company, strengthening its strategic focus, improving operational performance, and executing disciplined capital allocation initiatives that enhanced long-term value for shareholders.

Previously, Mr. Sutton served as Chief Executive Officer and President of Prince International Corporation from December 2019 to July 2020, where he led a rapid turnaround of a highly leveraged global specialty materials business. From 2013 to 2019, he held senior executive roles at Celanese Corporation, including Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President, with responsibility for all businesses, commercial teams, manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, mergers and acquisitions, and research and development.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Sutton served as President of Chemtura AgroSolutions and held a series of senior leadership roles at Albemarle Corporation over an 18-year period, including Division Vice President, Managing Director for Asia Pacific, and General Manager of international joint ventures. He began his career at Andersen Consulting.

Mr. Sutton holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Louisiana State University. He is a licensed Professional Engineer and has completed executive education programs at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and the University of Chicago, as well as director professionalism training through the National Association of Corporate Directors.
